Recently Safetykart team had planned out a weekend trip to Camp Dhauj, Faridabad. The mini tour to this scenic and adventurous spot was both to have fun and break the daily schedule of work and begin work afresh with peace of mind.
Dhauj is a small town in Faridabad, Haryana. This Camp Wild Dhauj has attained attractive beauty and value as a tourist holiday spot because of its location. Our journey began from Gurgaon on road and it almost took around an hour to reach Dhauj. On reaching the spot, we were offered a welcome breakfast followed by a team meeting and activity which was obviously a learning experience for the entire team. The mouth watering sumptuous lunch made us more active to be around the place and grasp the fun out of the activities. Commando net, Barrol crossing, Balance walk and Monkey crawl were amongst the few that anybody could easily enjoy.
Natural mountain climbing, rock climbing, rappelling and other team activities were also done by most of us. Being a safety cultured organisation, we were equipped with itineraries that could be useful for outings. Water bottles, masks, gloves, jackets, socks, mosquito repellents, first aid kit, helmets, flashlights were amongst other items that were carried by us and is recommended for every visitor to the place. The evening was also a relaxing one with evening tea and snacks. An evening with bonfire and light music could be well described as an added substitute to its fun and peace. Again a delicious plated dinner left us full to the brim of the appetite before we dozed off to welcome sleep.
The next day early morning, fog encompassed the entire area but bird watching was really mouth gaping. Watching beautiful peacocks and other local birds followed with a grand breakfast rejuvenated us and we were active to start afresh a new week.
