Skin becomes a matter of concern during summers, especially for us women. The heavy sunlight often affects our complexion and the resulting tanned look makes us fret! The skin becomes rough and thus we frantically start looking for some effective remedies to recover our youthful, glowing derma. But we often forget that prevention is better than cure. Why not start preventing your skin from becoming tanned before things go out of hands? There are certain specific therapies and remedies for preventing skin tan that you should know and start using right away! Here I spill the beans.

Home remedies

Our granny wasn’t wrong when she said that kitchen is the only place you can get the best skin therapy! There are certain home remedies that if used regularly can help you regain fairer and glowing skin during summers.

Honey and lemon juice pack:

Mix 2 tablespoons of honey with a few drops of lemon and apply it on your skin’s affected areas. Massage in circular motion, keep it for few minutes and then rinse it off with cold water.

Turmeric pack:

Prepare a paste using few pinches of turmeric powder, lemon juice and milk. Keep rubbing it in circular motion on your face for few minutes and then rinse it off with cold water. You’ll be left with a visibly fairer skin.

Applying a mixture of gram flour, lime juice and curd regularly can help keep tan away.

Milk powder and honey mixture:

Prepare a paste with honey, milk powder, lemon juice and almond oil. Apply it to your face and keep it on for 20 minutes. This reduces tan.

Banana Honey Face Mask:

The banana yoghurt face mask mixture also works as a good skin moisturizer. The mixture contains half ripe banana, half cup plain yoghurt and a tablespoon of honey. Apply the mask for 15-20 minutes and then rinse it off with cold water. Bananas work as an amazing ingredient for glowing skin.
